Introduction to Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur
The BNB-Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur was established with its the sole objective to empower, facilitate and inspire Women with ambition. Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur aims to enable capable women by providing quality education alongside exposure to endless opportunities for their socio-economic growth. Women participation is essential in all professional fields including Education, Technology, Management, Engineering, Politics, and Legislation among others as well as.
Keeping in view the significance of Women Education and thereby participation in the country economy, Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani had announced the establishment of Women University during his valued visit to Sukkur on January 11, 2009. Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah, the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Federal Government of Pakistan at that time laid down the foundation stone of University on September 10, 2013. The Provincial Assembly of Sindh passed Act of University in the name of “The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University, Sukkur” dated 24th May 2018 later. The Government of Sindh has leased 200 acres of land at Rohri bypass in Deh Nandho Kohistan Taluka Rohri District Sukkur for the establishment of the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur. 70 acres of land was also allocated to Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur by Government of Sindh in addition to 200 acres of land for the site. At present, the development work is been carried out at 70 Acres of land at Rohri bypass University site.
